ProBook 470 G5

Hello Gals and Guys -

I have a HP Probook 470 G5 that I'm running Ubuntu on.  When I first got the notebook sometimes it would not register clicks, but after a few minutes, it usually started to work normally, almost like it needed to warm up.  I hadn't seen it in a while, but the past few weeks it's come back.  Today, I could barely get it to work at all.  The tap to click, scrolling and the pointer seem to function properly, but the clicks don't appear to sink in.  Is this a common issue?  Is there a fix for this?  Can I replace the touch pad and if so, what's the part number.  Any help greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
