Hello,
I tried to run two 3840x2160 displays (displayport 1.4 supported) via my Thunderbolt Dock G2 via dual displayport 1.4 cables in 60Hz. But only possible to get 30Hz with this setup. HP states this:

This confuses me, thus it is not possible to run 2 displays 3840x2160 at 60Hz via the 2 displayport ports. Now I have ordered a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort 1.4 adapter that I will use to connect one of the 3840x2160 monitors to thunderbolt port on G2 Dock to achieve 60Hz on both external displays.
It is a bit frustrating that the HP specifications state that it is possible to use the two displayport ports to run in 60Hz when in reality it is not possible. I am using the latest firmware for the G2 Dock, sp136180
Am I miss understanding the HP G2 Dock Specifications? Tired of buying display cables.

As host I am using: HP EliteBook 830 G6 Notebook PC (4WE10AV)

Cables are DP 1.4 VESA certified
Something is seriously wrong with HPs specifications for Elitebook and/or G2 Dock

Updated all the device drivers on my HP EliteBook 830 G6 Notebook PC (4WE10AV) and also enabled "High resolution mode when connected to USB-C DP alt mode dock" in Bios. Still not able to get 3840x2160 displays at 60Hz via Displayport ports on G2 Dock. Waiting for my adapter to arrive to use 1 DP + TB port on G2 Dock.

Got it working with (2) 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz when using a 8k displayport 1.4 to USB-C Thunderbolt adapter in the (1) DP + 1 TB port.
No other of the setups in the spec sheets worked to get 4k, including:
(2) DP ports or
(1) DP + 1 USB-CTM Alt Mode port
I am happy that I got it working, but HP for XXXX sake update your specs for the Elitebook laptop and the G2 dock since they are wrong and unacceptable for equipment in this price range. This thread will not be marked as solved until you have commented here and/or updated your specifications correcting your misstakes.
A thank you from you to me for me doing your troubleshooting and documentation job here when you are idling here on the forum would also have been appropriate, so would a voucher covering my expenses for equipment and time doing this work for you.
