Hey Dude, did you solve the problem? I have the same problem and i have not found a solution.

Hey,

I had to contact hp live support (the US one & You have to get lucky to get through). Then you tell them your situation and if they agree to help you you sen them some serial numbers from the laptop. They send you a file that is specific to your laptop and will unlock your bios. You put that file on a usb and when tunring on your laptop you press a combination of keys (with the usb inserted). That unlocks the bios. You get detailed instructions from hp live support with the file...
