All,

I am confused on how HP assigns serverity ratings to updates. Consider SP94579 a recently released update to Intel Video Driver. Reading the documentation (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp94501-95000/sp94579.html) indicates that this a rutine update. However reading the security bulletin: https://support.hp.com/lamerica_nsc_carib-en/document/c06263722 indicates that SP94579 removes a number of security issues.
Seeing the same SP in the SCUP catalog sees the severity as Low.

In my opinion any driver that solves a security issue should be rated as critical.
Thanks
Lars
