today i updated to windows 11 22H2 and i went to device manager and found in other devices it showing uknown device i tried to update the driver but it couldnt detect it

note; my laptop before i wasnt able to use fingerprint it shows we couldnt find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello so i was thinking me upgrading to 22H2 would fix it before iwasnt seeing it bu now i see the uknow device can it mean its the fingerprint or no pls help me and thanks

Hi:

 

Please post the hardware ID for the unknown device, so I can figure out what driver it needs.

i found out that its nordvpn

so fogetting that is there a way i can get my fingerprint reader to work or test it on a third party app

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that.

 

I assume you have installed the fingerprint driver.  The only one currently available is for W11 21H1.
