HP Elitebook 850G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I need to deploy Bios update to a lot of users. We have different models of HP laptops and have no issue so far with other models.

On the HP 850 G1 though, when we deploy it silently. A Prompt for the Bios password appears after the reboot.

I use the command line : HPBIOSUPDREC64.exe /s /pPassword.bin /a

I confirmed the password in the bin file is the correct one. I even redid it multiple times.

The firmware is sucessfully installed after (tried it on 4 different computers) but we cannot let that prompt happen for users.

The previous updates on the 850 G1 worked with the same BIN file also.
