My HP spectre X360 stopped working yesterday. It looks like the battery no longer charges. The battery simply got drained down to 0%, and the laptop died. I tried replacing the battery, however that didn't solve the problem. The new battery simply got drained within 20 minutes, and the laptop refuses to charge it back up. I tried two different power adapters, so it's absolutely not a power adapter issue. I also went through all the troubleshooting actions in windows, but those didn't help either. So I suspected a hardware problem. Upon closely inspecting the motherboard, I can see that there is a small burn mark on the upper right side of the motherboard. Looks like one of the capacitors burned, rendering the whole power module dead. This seems to be a widespread problem with these motherboards and these laptops. I would like to understand what some reasonable next steps are, since I'm relying on this laptop for all my work. I bought the laptop back in 2015, but it died all of a sudden now. Are there any replacement motherboards available for model 13-4003dx???
