I have an almost new Elitebook 840 G8 I7 Win 10 pro 64bit that has a tendence to spontaneously and without warning shut down. Times between shutdowns is irregular and control of the settings does not show anything out of the normal, it is setup to not shut down when it is powered with its power adapter. Everything is updated so there nothing out of the ordinary to cause such a behavior, no virus or malware found. Restart works fine and so far shutdown hasn´t happened during active streaming or usage, only during passive use. Don´t know what more to try, any ideas?

As an added note: the motherboard was replaced because the original owner had locked the motherboard with a password but, unfortunately, is now deceased and no one else knew the password on the old board. One the new board the Bios and all functions have been updated and are fully accessible/functional (as far as I know).
