My almost new (less than a year old) in-warranty EliteBook 865 G10 is reporting battery error -- But I cannot contact any live person at HP tech support....
I went to the support website, logged-in and try to start a live chat -- but after I enter my profile information, the live chat Window never opens.
When I call the posted number during service hours, I am put on hold for a LONG time (~30 mins.), and then no one picks up, or the call just disconnects.
Does HP not have a working live support? -- This is supposed to be a premium business laptop.... (?!)
( NOTE: The problem is the battery reporting failure. HP Windows Hardware Diagnostics component test is reporting battery error). HP Support Assistant also says "The battery is reporting a failure and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Your battery may be covered by your HP Warranty. Please contact HP. M4X08K-C07CA1-MFGJWK-C0C923". Well, I can't get the battery replaced "as soon as possible" if I can't reach anyone at HP tech support.... )
