Hi all,

I recently inherited a company old HP EliteBook 8730w and i need to restore it to factory default.

When ever I try the sequence Power Button then tapping on F11 it still leads me to the normal Network company log on Screen and ask me for username and password. Is there a way to access the hard drive and do a full system restore to factory setting so I can install regular windows for personal use not a network version.

Any help will be appreciated.

HP Recommended

Call HP Support and ask for a recovery media set for your laptop... that may be the only way to restore an official HP image... For newer systems, there is a cloud recovery client tool to create a recovery usb key, but not for a system as old as yours
