HP ProBook 450 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I bought a new HP Probook 450 G6.

  • QuadCore Intel Core i7-8565U, 4500 MHz (45 x 100)
  • Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 + NVIDIA GeForce MX250
  • 512 SSD
  • 16 GB memory

And I'm concerned about the fan noise and how it works. I have an official licensed Windows 10 PRO v1909 installed.

Even just when working in the browser, I can hear the cooler running , it makes noise and does it in waves. I disabled the mx250 video card in the BIOS . And now the built-in intel HD620 is used as a video adapter. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version. I installed the drivers. I set the power supply mode as balanced. There is no CPU or video adapter load. The processor is loaded at 0-4% and the video adapter is loaded at 0-1%. But turning on the cooler is inexplicable. The processor temperature at this time is about 50 degrees. This happens both when using the battery and the network adapter.

Please help me.

After flashing new bios (01.10.00 Rev.A) my cooler running at fast speed every time. Reinstalling clean windows 10 (1909) don't solve the problem.

I found solution: flash old bios (01.09.01 Rev.A)

Thx for the suggestion,  I solved it as follows: in the laptop power settings in Windows, I set the CPU cooling method to passive and the maximum CPU usage to 75% and this helped me.

But for example< how to downgrade BIOS from 01.10.00 Rev.A to 01.09.01 Rev.A ?
