Product: HP Thunderbolt Dock 280W G4 w/Combo Cable
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

We purchased 160 new Probook 460 laptops and HP Thunderbolt Dock 280W G4 w/ combo's to go with them. Our users all have 2 monitors with display port cables connected to the dock.
Since we've been slowly deploying them, we've had to warranty replace 5 laptop screens that are constantly flickering after initially crashing.

Additionally the docking stations frequently need to be restarted because of random lines on the screens locking up the laptop. Undocking the laptop and long pressing power on the laptop for 60 seconds usually fixes this but it's been happening A LOT. We've pushed all available firmware and are sitting on several docking stations that died during that process.

 

Are these junk or what. The failure rate is really high for brand new equipment
