Elitebook 840 G5

Hello,

 

I have issue with the port Thunderbolt 3 of my Elitebook 840 G5, when connect the usb-c to VGA adapter, not recognize the external monitor.

 

I make the test with other laptop like Zbook Studio G5, Elite x2 1012 G2, Zbook 15 G4 and it all recognize the external monitor.

 

what can i do to solve this problem?

Hello Community,

 

 

I found the problem and was Windows Embedded Controller for USB

 

the name is: ucsi usb connector manager

 

Only needs disable and everything works with normality.

I hope my situation can solve to many problem of USB-C devices with your equiptments

today I made  a test with the 840 G5 and magically works the adapter but when unplug and plug not recognize it again.


maybe can be a problem of driver?
