HP Thunderbolt Dock G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

If a device connected to dock's USB-C port, when sending a Wake On LAN signal, the clients will not wake up.

We have tested this on ZBook Studio G5 - G9 and all have the same bahavior. Set BIOS to factory settings will not solve the problem. If no USB-C device is connected to the dock's port, the WoL works.

Has anyone else maybe experienced the same issues?

I have the same problem. I'm using HP Omen laptop though, but this confirms my suspicions that WOL on this dock is broken, even on Zbooks. I've managed to wake it by reinstalling network adapter driver, but it only works once after that. And only from sleep state. This is very disappointing because this small box costs basically as much as a mini PC, and it's sold as a professional accessory. I'm really surprised nobody cares at Hp since this feature is advertised for this dock specifically, for HP and HP supported laptops, and it makes me wonder if this is even legal (false advertising and such)

You mentioned that it only works once and this is the same behavior we have experienced too, apologize forgot to mention it in initial post.  If a usb-c device is connected to the usb-c port on the dock, then it will only work once and afterwards no matter how many WoL-packets you send, no reaction.

We have meanwhile  doezens of G4 docks in our company since Thunderbolt G2 docks aren't sold anymore and the same instability problem with same docks like screen flickering, dock and connected peripherals not recognized when starting notebook or after standby etc.
