Hello

 

Thunberbolt Dock G2 is compatible but it will be used  in USB-C mode as the 450 G5 doesn't have a TB controller.

Thunberbolt Dock G2 is able to work either in USB-C Video Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt mode.

if you have an Elitebook 840 G5 , for example, you will get all features supported by Thunberbolt .

WIth Probook 450 G5, it's compatible , but you can have the full features.
