After an accidental key-combination on a connected keyboard, my laptop + everything connected to the dock (HP Thunderbolt 230W G2) went in ‘sleep mode’.
Manually waking up the laptop didn’t wake up the monitors, nor connected USB devices, nor network connection.
The docking only provides power to the laptop and does not seem to be recognized anymore.
Checking the 'Device Manager' gives the following errors:
'PCI-to-PCI Bridge' > This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
'Thunderbolt Controller - 1577 > This device cannot start. (Code 10) - STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE
Things done & checked:
- uninstall drivers, reinstall them (both HP and Intel) > without luck
- BIOS update > nowhere possibility to change Thunderbolt properties as mentioned on some sites
- update to win 1909
- temporarily remove of cmos battery
It seems that there is a kind of chip in "idle" state because of the "sleep mode" issue.
Has anybody an idea how to "wake" this chip?
Thx!

Glenn.
