I had an ongoing issue with an HP Envy that I purchased in early 2023. Within a month of receiving the product I ran into a significant software problem that rendered the devise unusable (deleting drivers on it's own, particularly WiFi and USB). The service team was fantastic to work with and got me back up and running, but the issue continued to rear its ugly head about every month. When the time came to no longer continue trying to fix the device and simply return it for a refund I was surprised to hear HP would not honor the warrantee claim because the first issue was outside of 30 days. I was surprised by this because it was only appx 20 days from the day it shipped to the day of the first support ticket. HP Educated me that the warrantee time does not begin when the product ships but instead when the order was placed. There was over a week delay from order placement to order shipment which ate nearly 30% of my warrantee time.
Can HP please clarify this in their Terms and Conditions to protect future consumers?
