Have HP Envy laptop, purchased new with 64gb ram and 2x1T hard drives. The laptop kept overheating and turning off. contacted HP warranty right away. They sent a box to ship for warranty repair. When received thought everything was fine. tried installing Microsoft suite and Auto Cad, and kept getting errors, not enough room. When I checked pc, HP Warranty Repair had removed my ram and one hard drives and returned the laptop with only 16gb of ram and 117gb hard drive. When found out they'd downgraded components HP Warranty was contacted immediately. The woman I spoke to that time said she noted what happened and would send a box to have it picked up again and the missing or downgraded components would be replaced. After received back a second time from warranty repair, nothing had been done. They didn't touch it! I've not been dealing with this guy, Francis at HP, who just goes in circles. He calls and acts like he's never heard any of my information before, that warranty said they didn't do anything but replace the motherboard, which is not true!, and wants me to go over what he's already been told numerous times. I sent him copies of my purchase receipt received with a complete description of what my laptop was purchased with, all paperwork received for the two repairs. This has now been going on 6 months! This guy doesn't have a clue, apparently can't do anything. Can anyone help me on where I can go to file a complaint against HP? As far as I'm concerned HP stole my computer components and are refusing to make it right. It's a shame because my business currently has 20 HP computers. I've only used HP computers for the last 20 years! I have never had to deal with warranty repair before, but obviously HP doesn't have a respectable warranty repair center and definitely don't care about customer service. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. This laptop is worthless to me in it's current state.
