Hi,

 

My Elitebook Folio1040 G3, pn: M5R95AV was acquired in Italy and I live in UK. Both countries are iin EU ...

But UK support refused to honor the warranty because the laptop is listed for Country Coverage

From my understanding there is a HP Global Warranty that applies to all products not to mention to this high end business laptop.

i am expecting that warranty will be honored all across EU acording to the country of residence and mine is UK.

What can I do about it ?

There is a ratling fan noise that you would not expect on a 3 months high end laptop ....
