HP EliteBook 2760p

I lost the BIOS password for my HP EliteBook 2760p. As this is a very old business notebook that is long out of warranty, HP support won't help. I tried the HPBR "shotgun" approach detailed but it doesn't work. The BIOS is still locked despite running "shotgun" several times. I'll have to replace the BIOS chip.

Question - where is the BIOS chip located on the HP 2760p system board? And is the BIOS chip soldered to the system board or is it inserted in a socket? I posted the same question on another forum . If anyone on this forum knows the answer, please respond. Thanks.
