Hello,
I have a ZBook Fury 17 G7 and I would like to fit an SSD (SATA) which I already own in it. I found instructions to do so and it looks easy enough, except when I opened the laptop I found it did not contain the enclosure required to secure the SSD in place. I have tried searching but have been unable to find somewhere to purchase one (in the United Kingdom).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
James

Hi James,
To install the drive you will need
hard drive bracket part number M20091-001
hard drive cable part number M20105-001
You can try in the HP parts store
On page 44 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive

Hope it helps,

Hi David,
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I have ordered the bracket from HP parts, I don't need a cable as the connectors are present and I have tested connecting the SSD to them (so only the rigidity of the connectors is holding the SDD in place!) and it worked fine.
I have saved a copy of the service manual as that could be very helpful
Thanks,
James
