I'm not a technical person so I'm asking the community.  I'm looking to buy a laptop and the jargon confuses me. Basically all I need it for is work from home/personal computing. Don't need a great sound or graphics card, just need access to the Internet, a reliable laptop and pre installed windows software. Mass amounts of memory is also not necessary.  Which would be my best option for a very good, basic work horse laptop?

Well, you can buy a $350 machine or a $6000 machine, it is up to you and your need. Nearly all machines now have Windows pre-installed . Hope the following Guide helps
