Why is my HP EliteBook 2540p turning off after few minutes, I have fix the fan and put the pest and have done total cleaning of fan and the but it is still going off

Hello.

 

Does your laptop turn off even if you leave the computer at BIOS or diagnostics screen? (press ESC when computer starts)

Does your laptop get hot until it turns off?

Does the fan work?

 

Try with another power supply first. Also try using the laptop with battery removed. Try using laptop without dock if you have one.
