Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A couple weeks ago when I attempted to open the top of the lid of my computer, I immediately noticed that where the left hinge and power button and where the power cord plugs in on the computer was coming apart.  I called tried calling technical support and didn't get any help. There is no way my computer should be literally coming apart after 2 years of use. Either I have a lemon or HP is building it computers with cheap substandard parts. I do not want to go to a shop to see if they can repair something that should not be coming apart that is only a couple years old, especially when I did nothing other than opening and closing the computer to cause this damage and causing me to completely having to reinstall windows 10 and losing a lot of my files

I would appreciate some help before paying a lot of money for another computer and if I do it will be another brand.

Thank you!
