wifi option suddenly disappered , I have done the update. But still not able to see the wifi option.

Did you check the device manager to make sure the wifi network card is list and that the driver is working properly?  ie to unknown devices in the device manager and no caution symbol indicating a problem with the wifi driver?

 

Another option I use to test is to have a bootable USB key with a Linux distribution, then boot from that and see if Linux finds the wifi card.  It is does. then it is a Windows issue
