HP Recommended
15-da0024cl Business Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

8 Months ago I purchased 2 of these lap tops, today one of them stopped working. The HP webpage said the warranty expired a month after I bought them, so no help there.

My kid was using it for school, walked away for lunch break, and when he returned he pressed the space bar to wake it up, and it shut down. Now it will not power back on. The LED by the power cord port does not light up.

After checking the cords, power supply, outlet, etc. I took it over to the other one I bought, exact same model. The other laptop was charging, green light at the power port. I unplugged it and plugged that power cord into the faulty laptop, still no LED light, would not power on.

I've spent the past 3 hours going through every recommendation I can find on the web to get it going, nothing has worked. Does anyone here have any ideas? The battery is not removable. Thanks.
