ZBook 15v G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I have just upgraded the RAM in my ZBook to 64 GB however it only uses 32GB of it. Both RAM modules are detected and working fine. HWInfo also shows that both of them are indeed 32GB modules, timings reported are also correct, however the BIOS reports also that only 32GB are installed.
I know for a fact that the I7 8750h that is build into this laptop supports the 32GB modules, since I have already upgraded another machine with a 64GB kit.

So I guess that this is some sort of BIOS limitation that is artificially put on this machine. Am I correct?
The BIOS is the current version F.23. I updated it today to see if it makes a difference.

Best regards
