ZBook 17 G6

I''ve seen many references to the lockups in the ZBook  17 line. Mine is Intel I7 with NVIDIA Quadro that came with FreeDOS that I've installed with CentOS8. BIOS only does legacy boot and for now it is plugged in ALL the time so there should be no battery issues. This workstation was supposedly :"verified" for RedHat 8 but now it's a complete mystery to me how this can even be true. I always get a little "click" warning right before these lockups happens and my system seems to run quite HOT all the time compared to my 15" Lenovo with CentOS7. I have now dealt with these problems since mid-Sept.

Are there REALLY any solutions t these ZBook problems? I have a 3 yr extended warrenty and am REALLY tired of this.

Should I give up and initiate a return or ?????
