HP ZBook Power 15.6 inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC (4T506AV)

Hi, which is the best docking station for the Power G9?

From the Quickspecs these would fit:

Docking station model #1 HP Thunderbolt Dock G2

Docking station model #2 HP USB-C Dock G5

Docking station model #3 HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2

Actually any TB or USB dock would "fit", but which give the best performance? I guess going for Thunderbolt 4 with 40Gbps would have the maximum bandwidth compared to the USB-C or Universal dock which are all USB3.? with only 5 (or 10?) Gbps? I'm not sure why the USB versions actually exists as long as TB is available.

Then there is only the option #1 for Thunderbolt?

I know there are older dock generations with TB3 which would work as well, but not gaining the maximum performance.

Why don't they reference part numbers in the Quickspecs? Searching for this model I find

https://support.hp.com/de-de/product/setup-user-guides/hp-thunderbolt-dock-g2-with-combo-cable/21816...

and

https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06144915.pdf with VGA, which most probably isn't the right Dock for the Power G9.

Ok, different approach, searching via https://partsurfer.hp.com but Docks are not listed there as spare-parts.

As far as I know, the HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 was TB3 only, while a

HP Thunderbolt Combo Dock G4 4J0G4AA 280 Watt

would be the successor with TB4. But why should one need 280W if the original power supply for the Power G9 had 150W only?
