I have a HP Zbook Fury G7 15" with the A3000 video card, UHD screen. I've repaired it w/ a new motherboard and I need to figure out what it's model # would be.
Bought it off ebay, worked for a few days and the keyboard bit the dust, figuring it was just the keyboard I ordered one. Turns out it was a bad socket on the motherboard. By the time I figured all that out the seller wouldn't take it back.
Was going to part it out, but found another motherboard on the 'bay and bought it.
Machine is back together and mostly running - but it's in manufacturing mode. All but a couple components work fine.
The webcam just gives snow,
the fingerprint reader won't load it's driver and
the WWAN module just shows up as an unknown PCI device.
I believe these issues stem from it not having the proper model ID and serial number branded in with the HP DMI Tool.
I have the tool loaded on a stick and it's booting, so all's ready to go, but I'm trying to find a valid PN for it and am coming up blank.
Does anyone know where I could get a valid ABA# so I can enter it? Or some sort of list I can look thru?
Thanks in advance.
