Zbook G15: My Thunderbolt 3 is fried, can I use an USB3-HDMI adaptor to connect to my dockstation

Hi,

My two thunderbolt ports are fried at the moment, due to an accident in a restaurant with ketchup.

I bought a HDMI - USB3.0 adapeter, is it possible to connect my Zbook to the 150W docking station through it?

Basically, can I input the data port through another way than the 3.0 ports?

Thanks,

Lup.

You can use a USB - HDMI adapter to get an extra external screen output.

But your Thunderbolt docking requires a thunderbolt output from your machine to work, so no this is not possible
