Zbook G6 problems and awful HP Support

Ive got a new ZBook 17 G6 which crashes / auto shuts down under load - i've been trying to investigate this with HP support in the UK (well, India it seems!) for over six weeks now, but they've not been great to deal with as their first line support don't seem to know much about what to do with troubleshooting unusual problems that are beyond the average common stuff ; whist regularly saying that they are "elevating the problem to second line support" this never actually happens and they refuse to actually let me talk to anyone who is further able to help... That, and despite sending instructions on how to re-produce the problem themselves, they're more keen on replacing arbitrary components than trying to reproduce on their own machines!
