Zbook with SSD mSATA and HDD

HP Recommended
HP ZBook 17 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a 500GB mSATA before doing the research.  The system has 500GB SSD, C boot drive, 1 TB HDD for data.

Initially I was hoping to boot from the mSATA, but have learned that is not going to work.

It appears that the only useful option might be to use the mSATA as a cache for the 1TB drive.  Is this a correct conclusion and if so, it it intuitive on getting this working?

The system is F2Q33UT, Zbook 17.  Windows 10 Pro, 1709, was just installed, upgrading from W 7 Pro.

Thank you.

As far as I know, it is just a Zbook 17, purchased in 2014.  The product number is F2Q33UT.

Yes.  It is in the list of boot devices.  Once the screws arrive to hold it in place, I guess the SSD data migration software can be used to image it?
