HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone

I have a very bad problem with ALL the thunderbolt dock G4 (120w or 280w)

we have a dozen of them and every time when you connect a Head Seat or a communication device all the USB port goes off

all the station has been updated and all the HP computer have all the updates with the latest BIOS.

fun fact the same occurred on a DELL laptop.

Do you have any idea where did it come from? i think of a bad driver on the station...

thanks for the future reply

Hello Baptiste,

Have you tried to upgrade to the latest Firmware 1.4.16.0 or do you "just" updated the Notebook Firmware?

The HP link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143669.exe

Furthermore, HP has released on 28. April 2023 a bunch of new Firmwares for HP EliteBook Devices.

At the moment, I have a different problem, LAN related. Haven't made an entry, only searched and found your question.
