hello guys today i had and alert message show me that there is a failure with the battery and need to be replaced 

but at the same time im not a heavy user and my warranty expired is there any option to extend the warranty or any expiations since i did not use the device

hello,

 

it really depends on how you have used your battery or in what state of charge it has been stored for a long time.

And, of course, you can run a detailed hp diagnostic battery test afterwards ...
