Product: Elitebook X360 1050
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a work laptop and a docking station (Anker USB C Hub, PowerExpand 8-in-1 USB C Adapter, with Dual 4K HDMI, 100W Power Delivery, 1 Gbps Ethernet, 2 USB 3.0 Data Ports) as well as an old work supplied HP Elite USB-C docking station model TPA-B01

Two monitors: an iiyama G-Master GB2888UHSU-B1 28" TN LCD, 1ms , 4K UHD 3840x2160  with DP and a few HDMI and an ASUS VP249HR 24 Inch (23.8 Inch) Monitor, FHD (1920x1080)

Issue is if I try to connect both monitors via the Anker dock, the resolution on the 4K monito drops to the point where the same isn't usable hence I had to resort to using the HP docking station for one of the monitors (Asus) and the Anker dock for the iiyama.

It's a hit and miss and the hardware will work one day not the other day. I have a USC-C Logitech Streamcam which will only work via a small USBA adaptor.

I feel my setup is very very messy.

Would anyone bother to help and advice what needs fixing/removing/adding or should I just swallow the bitter bullet and buy another dock. If so, which  one as work wont provide anything beyond the TPA-B01
