Product: probook 440

Hi, so recently I have been given a new probook 440 at work and I started to be unable to enter a word on my usb stick / laptop's drive search bar in order to locate a file by name, but it wasn't happening consistently. For a few days now, however, it seems to be totally disabled and cannot use this function anymore; as a matter of fact I can't even click on the search bar, so I don't know if I've touched some key that has disabled it (if that's even possible) or what the issue is, but it's highly annoying and bizarre. Anyone help please? thank you! victoria
