elitebook 820 G3 Power on but No LED indicator

HP Recommended
Elitebook 820 G3

My newly delivered laptop does not have power indicator lights (LED) lit when I connect to the main power.  How to know if it is charging my battery or not?  I have tested to see if the socket has power since it is charging my other DELL computer just fine.

I saw some others had the same problem.  But this is a brand new first time power connected laptop (maybe not first time since it should be done in the factory for test).  Any specific problem with the Elitebook 820 G3 on this?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

The Elite 820 G3 has an LED in the power button on the right side.  When you push that forward to turn on the notbook, the LED in the button lights.

As to battery state, there is an icon in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen.  If you hover the mouse over it, it will tell you the charge level and if the battery is charging.
