i need the serial number of my laprtop.Its been stolen

i want to get the serial number of my laptop to give it to the police coz its been stolen.How do i get it from hp?i got all receipts from the place i bought it with my name on.can you help me?

@sotiris1975 I'm afraid the serial number is unique to your device and that's not something we would have,

That's confidential information and may have been sent to you via email when you purchased the device, could be on the invoice as well.

There's no other way of obtaining this information, that said, do let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you out.
