i have 

HP Laptop 14s-fq1037AU how max ram they can to be upgrade?

stock ram is 4x2 . from market if i ask 32 gb max with 16x2 config, but inn website ryzen 7 5700u can support up to 64 gb ram? which true thank, i need my upgrade ram cause 4x2 for 2024 is not really good for obs multitasking

Hi:

 

Run this command to see how much memory your notebook can support:

 

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

 

This will open the command prompt.

 

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

 

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

 

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

 

If the report indicates 33,xxx,xxx, then you can install 2 x 16 GB of memory.
