HP Recommended
Product: HP Probook 470-3G
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

new sandisk 64 gb microSD card in adaptor not visible or recognised in Probook card reader. Works fine with all other SD type cards.

Tried using an old external usb plug in multi card reader, micro card recognised but listed as write-protected  so unable to manage card.  The micro sd card works fine in my desktop tower card reader 

is this a software or hardware issue ?

using lateset version of win10 and auto updates from  HP.
