Dear Readers,

We have a dozen of probooks 440 and 450 G6 and we are about to buy a lot of HP USB-C Dock G5 docking stations.

Are individual screen settings stored or remembered?

For example when i plugin dock 1 and made settings like screen duplication and antoher day i plugin dock 2 and make screen settings like extended desktop, and whe i return or come back to those docks are the induviduals settings i made rememberd or do i need to set those settings every time again?

thanks for reading, and i hope you can give some answers.

@arjanver

Yes machines will keep (remember) as long as BOTH docks are the same. I used (and many people still do this now) to work on 4 different locations for many years (every week from home, head office and 2 computer centers with distances from  20km to 70km) and I only needed to setup once.

Regards.

All docks are the same HP USB-C Dock G5.

Do you know where those settings are stored on the laptops?
