Hello,

I recently bought an old business laptop but few days ago it got stuck in a loop booting into HPSureStart. After some online research I found out it might be caused by recent windows updates and the only knows solution for this is BIOS update. So I somehow managed to recover my laptop into factory settings so I escaped the booting loop. But now I'm worried it will happend again so I would like to update my BIOS. I then found out it's protected by password which of course wasn't told to me by the seller and he doesn't know it either because it's a company reselling old business laptops... 

On some forum I learned you might be able to help by generating some smc.bin file which could help me update the bios without the password. But I guess it's a longshot. Anyway any help with this issue is appreciated.
