Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I started to experience issues with touchpad on HP ZBook Firefly 15.6 inch G8 where touchpad after restart is working for some time and then become sluggish and slow. Tried with regular mouse and no issues there. Researched over the internet and looks like there are number of issues across tier 1 vendors with this. And this is unacceptable :-).  Firefly is fairly expensive notebook and we should experience these kind of problems. 

I noticed that Windows 11 installs generic drivers from 2006 for HID compliant touchpad as well as for I2C chipset. Tried to update it from HP website but no luck. 

How to actually update these drivers to latest ones?

HP Recommended

HP replaced touchpad but same issue came back after 15-20 minutes of usage. I noticed this:

are these drivers in order? Is is Ok if driver is 15+ years old 🤷‍♂️😊?
