very poor hp envy x360 battery life

hi guys! bought an hp envy x360 15-es2xx a few days ago and noticed the battery life is very very poor even though it's advertised to go up to 15 hours. it drains 40 percent in like an hour with 50 percent brightness and speakers are also on 50 percent. it's the Intel i5 1240p model. this is a very serious problem if anyone could help it would be very very great. thank you !
