HP Zbook x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

If someone owns a zbook x360 can you please do a small test for me about the performance of it in docked mode?

In the product page they are advertising the docked mode as seen in the picture below

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/workstations/zbook-x360.html

I would like to know if the CPU performance gets restricted when placed like this. There are two ways to notice it. The first is with task manager and monitor if the CPU clock achieves smaller numbers. The second is by installing Intel XTU and then watching if the "Power limit throttling" gets activated. This would then limit the power to the CPU as seen in the "Package TDP".

I own a spectre 15" x360 and unfortunately this is how it behaves, and this is by design according to their support. When i asked if i should buy a zbook in order to work like this again they informed me that the same limitation applies. But then again i do not understand how it is expected to work in docked mode as above where you would expect maximum performance.

looking forward to someone testing it as i am considering buying a zbook. i hope i do not get dissapointed.
