Hi folks,
Ive been getting bad battery notice for month and its been only charging to about 70% then this week it stalled on reboot with just a flashing keyboard. I did some troubleshooting, drained the baterry ten it rebooted. I run HP diagnostic and it say baterry is fine just need calibrating, diung that as we speak. But ive been looking online for a nrw baterry problem is this:
MY EXISTing battery is 3 cell, and most of new ones im fi ding is 6 cell but with same specs = 11.4 V and 50 watt. Shoukd I invest in one of these new 6 cell bateery and would it okay to use a non OEM $21 battery or the $100 Oem?
Thanks for you feedback party people, i apreciate it!#apparentlyIdontknowtospellbattery

in this world, you usually get what you pay for...........there is a reason the non OEM is 21.00 vs 100.00 for the OEM battery
with the quality of the battery cells used being the most obvious.
that 27.00 battery is most likely not using Sanyo or panasonic cells, but various no name cells that are possibly not the same capacity or poorer construction, or less runtime per cell
your laptop may come with a stock battery and a option to use a upgraded higher capacity battery pack check the laptop specs
if you don't travel/use the battery then you might get by with a cheap replacement but in my personal experience those really cheap batteries are not worth it
