HP Recommended

Hi i wamted to upgrade my power supply from my hp elitedesk 705 g1 so i bought a new one with a 24 ping adapter so it fits in the motherboard but when i plug it in it doesn't work but when i use my old power supply it works i saw on youtube you maybe need to change the cables
