Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys,

Brand new Z6 G4, I put a DVD in it, when I opened the DVD drive it wasn't there, so I opened it and saw it inside, I managed to take it out, but the Workstation is now saying the subject of this post, how can I check this?

Thanks.

your post is unclear, did you have a working system and try to install a DVD drive and then get the cooling error?

if so you need to open the case again and recheck the fan connections as you have knocked one loose (the Memory fan cable)

some hp workstations do not use a fan cable, but have the fan connection embeded in a plastic shroud that mates with a corsponding header on the motherboard, if your z6 is like this, remove the plastic shroud and reseat making sure that the fan connection on the shroud mates with the motherboard header

No, the DVD drive is already in it, I just put a DVD inside of it, closed it, tried to browse it on Windows, but it said there was no DVD in the drive, so I opened the DVD drive and it was gone, that's when I opened the case and saw the DVD.

I have just re-opened the case and re-seat the Memory fan, but it still says the same message, the conexion looks in place, but I don't know if it's making contact properly.

I had to call for service because this is a new machine and it's under warranty, so I'll let the technician to take care of it.

Thanks.
