8 Beeps and Nothing from the screen.

HP Compaq Elite 8300 All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I was not there when the issue occurred, so I cannot say what was the cause. All I know is that when I power the computer it shows a red light 1 second then it will beeps and flash a white light 8 times. The computer will then stop after like 5 minutes it will turn on the fans to what seems max power and stay like that until powered off. It will occasionally keep beeping after being booted up, but more often than not it will default to the first scenario. I have read the manuals and tried what it says, but I haven't had any luck. Maybe I am doing something wrong though. I have tried to flash the bios like it says, but the PC won't boot into the boot block mode like it says it should. It says nothing about inserting a media device or anything of the sort. The screen shows literally nothing. It displays nothing whatsoever. So am I at a complete lost as I have tried everything I have found and everything I know. Anyone got any advice other than to replace the motherboard?
